Lionsgate has released the first official trailer for I, Frankenstein, starring Aaron Eckhart and Yvonne Strahovski.
Official Synopsis: 200 years after his shocking creation, Dr. Frankenstein’s creature, Adam, still walks the earth. But when he finds himself in the middle of a war over the fate of humanity, Adam discovers he holds the key that could destroy humankind. From the co-writer of the hit supernatural saga, UNDERWORLD, comes the action thriller I, FRANKENSTEIN, written for the screen and directed by Stuart Beattie, screen story by Kevin Grevioux and Stuart Beattie, based on the Darkstorm Studios graphic novel “I, Frankenstein” created by Kevin Grevioux. The story is brought to life by a cast that includes Aaron Eckhart, Bill Nighy, Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda Otto, Jai Courtney, and Aden Young as Victor Frankenstein.
Recently The New York Timesfeature Yvonne Strahovski and her beauty regimen, which emphasizes natural products.
I use a foundation by Koh Gen Do. I put it on with my hands. I think it spreads a more even layer. I’ll also do mascara, but I’m always changing up which brand. I’m still trying to find a really great natural one. I’ve used the Josie Maran one before, which is O.K. But one of my favorites is the pomegranate tinted lip balm by Burt’s Bees. I have them everywhere: one at home, one in my pocket, one in my purse. That’s pretty much it and then I’m out the door.
At night, I’ll follow the same routine as in the morning. I don’t use makeup remover, but just the same MyChelle cleanser. But I will use an exfoliator — they have a great one with enzymes — after a day of working in heavy makeup. Also, I’m very much into oils. Sometimes, I’ll put on this great 100 percent pure vitamin E oil. If my skin is irritated or it’s been a long work day, I like to put on a little lavender oil or maybe eucalyptus, which is really good for healing. And there’s this great Australian product called Papaw. It comes in a red tube and it’s a fermented fruit product that most people probably use as a lip balm, but I put it around my eyes and let it soak in overnight. It’s very moisturizing and you wouldn’t want to put it all over because it’d be too oily.

Yvonne Strahovski appears in a new photoshoot by Joseph Chen that is absolutely stunning. We don’t know what these photos are for, but the black and gold fashion collection suggests a style magazine.
You know what’s great about these? Besides Yvonne looking amazing? She doesn’t feel the need to pose with her mouth open, and yet she’s still super sexy. Take note, starlets of the world.
These photos of Yvonne Strahovski at the InStyle Summer Soiree just came across our virtual desk, while we’re waiting for the Dexter Paley Center event photos. Mercedes Masohn and Aimee Garcia also attended (photo above is from Mercedes’ Twitter).
Yvonne wore Alexander McQueen’s Honeycomb Stretch-Knit Dress accessorized with the Rachel Zoe Margaux Snake-Print Minaudiere Clutch and Le Vian textured Honey Gold Gladiator ring accented with Chocolate Diamonds. Beautiful, as usual!

In a new interview with the New York Daily News, Yvonne Strahovski talks about her character on Dexter, calling Hannah McKay “a sensitive sociopath”.
“I call her a ‘sensitive’ sociopath,” Strahovski says of her character. “I don’t think she walks away from wrecking people’s lives without real emotional scars. So let’s give her credit for that.”
In the interests of not getting on her bad side, we’ll go with that. [McKay] arrived on the crime scene last season as a “maybe or not” accomplice in a killing spree who instantly got Dexter’s blood flowing. And though he tried to take her out on a date by booking her a reservation on his special table, the pair wound up having killer sex instead.
“Being bound and gagged is not my idea of foreplay, but the scene certainly was intense and seemed to register well,” Strahovski says.
In fact, the actress has been amazed by the reaction from the show’s fans to her return for the eighth and final season. “The reception I’ve received has been amazing,” she says. “I didn’t realize how many people watch the show, so the number of people who approach me with kind encouragement has been incredible.”
Yvonne Strahovski is reprising her role as Hannah on Dexter‘s final season. As the series marches toward its final episode, we have some photos of Yvonne from episodes 8.08-8.10 to share.
Total Film issue 210 has a new interview with Yvonne Strahovski about Terra, her character in the upcoming film I, Frankenstein. They’ve released an excerpt for us to share:
What is [your character] Terra like?
“Terra’s a scientist – she’s an electro physiologist and she’s very much involved in her work. She’s passionate about it. She’s researching reanimation and bringing to life something that’s dead.
“But when she’s faced with the reality of this creature right in front of her, I think her world is totally rocked and she’s faced with this extraordinary world that she never knew about.”

The studio has also finally given us a photo of Yvonne from the film! The pic shows Yvonne Strahovski and Aaron Eckhart standing in front of some sort of chamber as he gives her a book. Very mysterious.
I, Frankenstein is due in theaters – in 3-D! – January 24, 2014.
Yvonne Strahovski returned to Dexter this week as Hannah McKay, her femme fatal from last season, gave Dexter and Deb a dose of poison as punishment for sending her to jail.
In an interview with TODAY.com, Yvonne revealed that Hannah definitely has vengeance on the brain, but she needs her former lover alive:
“I don’t think she intended to kill them,” the blonde beauty explained. “It’s more about Hannah’s gotten herself in a sticky situation, and hopeful that she can have Dexter aid her. … Hannah has the ability to do it forcefully, as opposed to nicely — depending on how Dexter reacts to her and she reacts to him.”

Esquire has a new interview with Yvonne Strahovski talking about her life here in America, playing a dark character on Dexter, and returning to Broadway. Here’s an excerpt:
ESQ: You were recently in a play, Golden Boy, which seemed like it was a huge success. Did you enjoy working on Broadway?
YS: I did. I found it immensely challenging. I didn’t really have a lot of time to think about it too much because I had wrapped season seven of Dexter on October, and then I moved to New York for four months the next day and at 10:30 in the morning I started rehearsal. Then we had this four-week intense period of rehearsals, which was completely different for me. I grew up doing theater in Australia and I have a theater company there so I know what theater is and how it functions, but I haven’t done any plays in the last seven years. It was very much a shock to the system. It was a hard, challenging role with a lot of layers, but we were led by an extraordinary director, Bartlett Sher, who just turned the production into a piece of gold.
