I Love You Too writer/director/star Peter Hellier decided to have some fun with the DVD extras for the film and created a digital short in which he informs Yvonne Strahovski that she has a really hot sex scene with him that day, a surprise to both Yvonne and her boyfriend.
NOTE: This is a JOKE, written specifically for the DVD.
Yvonne Strahovski teamed up with George Lopez to surprise her Chuck co-star Zachary Levi with a custom golf cart during a recent appearance on Lopez Tonight. Check out the video of Yvonne bringing the cart out on stage, and the behind-the-scenes peek at the surprise.
20th Century Fox released the trailer for Matching Jack, an Australian film with a small appearance by Yvonne. The film tells the story of Marisa (Jacinda Barrett) and her son, Jack (Tom Russell). Life seems idyllic for the suburban Melbourne family until Jack suddenly winds up in hospital. Marisa tries to find her husband, David (Richard Roxburgh) who is in fact in the next suburb apparently planning to leave Marisa for his current mistress, Veronica (Yvonne Strahovski) with his phone off and not a care in the world. Jack is diagnosed with Leukemia and when David finally surfaces he learns that he is the key to Jack’s survival. If a matching bone marrow donor can’t be found on the world register, maybe there is some child of David’s out there from one of his flings?
Matching Jack doesn’t have an American release date yet, but will premiere at the Melbourne International Film Festival (July 22 – August 8 ) before it’s Australian wide release on September 30.
Yvonne and co-star Megan Gale appeared on the Australian news program 7PM Project last night promoting their new film, I Love You Too.
The film will be premiering across Australia beginning tomorrow night. If you’re in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, here’s where you might get a glimpse of Yvonne:
23 April – Melbourne. World premiere, all stars will attend.
27 April – Sydney, New South Wales premiere. Peter Helliar, Brendan Cowell, Yvonne Strahovski, Megan Gale, and Daina Reid (director) will attend.
29 April – Gold Coast Queensland premiere. Brendan Cowell and Yvonne Strahovski will appear and do a meet & greet.
If you get a chance to attend any of these events, send in your stories and photos!
Chuck returns with all new episodes on Monday, April 26, and NBC is hyping what looks like an amazing episode with these new promos and sneak peeks:
“Chuck vs. the Honeymooners” airs Monday, April 26 at 8/7c on NBC.
Yvonne was a guest on last night’s edition of G4′s Attack of the Show. Although the interviewer was less than savory, she handled herself well and we were treated to (spoiler alert!) some exciting clips from episode 3.13, “Chuck vs. the Other Guy” and episode 3.14, “Chuck vs. the Honeymooners”.
The trailer for Yvonne’s new film, I Love You Too, has been released and it looks adorable! I’m especially excited to see Bridie Carter in a supporting role (she played Tess in McLeod’s Daughters, an Aussie series I loved). Visit the Herald Sun’s website to watch it.
Coin-Op has a video interview with Yvonne about Mass Effect 2. She talks about working on the game, what you might encounter with Miranda (her character in the game), and gives a little plug for Chuck:
E! Online’s Girl on Top competition is nearing the end of its run and Yvonne is one of the final two competitors. At Sunday night’s TCA press tour, Kristin from E! gave Yvonne and Adam a chance to sway your vote for Yvonne. Check it out:
Jace (aka the Televisionary) had the opportunity to talk with Yvonne Strahovski on the set of Chuck a couple of weeks ago and he’s sharing it with the fans. She talks about enjoying working with the love triangles, finding out more about Sarah’s past, drama vs. comedy, dancing on set, and higher stakes for everyone in season 3. WARNING: Minor spoilers!
Interesting comment there at the end, huh? Check out Jace’s blog; he’s a Chuck fan who often gets to preview episodes so you might want to bookmark/subscribe to his RSS feed to keep up with his posts.
