Complex Magazine has a fun new interview with Yvonne Strahovski in their December/January issue, including gorgeous new photos and a cute video (below). Here’s an excerpt from the interview.
How do you punish people who do you wrong?
I drug them and take them out to a forest, where I wrap them in plastic and—oh, wait, that’s Dexter. What’s the shadiest thing you’ve discovered about someone you’ve dated?
On our first date, one guy farted loudly in front of me. I considered that shady for a split second, before I burst into laughter and thought, Wow, he’s a keeper. What do fans ask you to say most often in your Australian accent?
Everyone loves to hear me say “no.” When an Aussie says “no,” you can hear all the vowel sounds in the alphabet. I often get made fun of for it.
Several outlets spoke with Yvonne Strahovski during a media tour for SoBe LifeWater earlier this week. It’s pretty much the same questions asked and answered, but with a new tidbit here and there, so take a look at the various articles.
She talked to TV Fanatic about being painted on for the SoBe campaign, working with Cheryl Ladd in “Chuck vs. the Baby”, and the upcoming finale. Yvonne also shared that she took a couple of souvenirs from Sarah’s wardrobe, but she didn’t keep them. Watch the interview here.
EW also talked to her about “Chuck vs. the Baby”, the finale, the final nemesis, and what’s next. Read the interview here.
We’ll update with more interview links as they become available.
Yvonne Strahovski hit up a couple of events this week. First, she attended NBC’s party at the Winter Television Critics Association in Los Angeles to promote the conclusion of Chuck, wearing a beautiful blue-green dress. Then she went to a press event to launch her SoBe Natural Lifewater with Coconut campaign, featuring those bodypaint photos we posted last week. For this event, it was skinny black jeans and a rich red top. Looking good, Yvonne!
Today is the final day of filming on Chuck. The end of nearly 5 years of one of the most captivating shows to grace the small screen. Yvonne Strahovski, the cast member most prone to tears according to Chris Fedak, took to Twitter a few minutes ago to say farewell to the fans and share what’s in her heart.
Dear Twitter peeps, lovers of Chuck, of our Chuck characters and everything Chuck. Today marks the very last day of filming on this show. I cant begin to express how much I have loved this ride, and how much I have been amazed and touched by your ongoing support. Today is a very difficult day. We will walk away happy, though. Happy to have gone through this together, happy to have made friendships for life, and the greatest and best fans on the entire planet. So my #ThankYouChuck is a thank you to the fans. Thank you for seeing us through this journey, for your endless support, for the love and the determination. Thank you, thank you … thank you.
Love, Yvonne Strahovski

Cowboys & Aliens premiered at Comic Con 2011 over the weekend, and Yvonne Strahovski attended with boyfriend Tim Loden.
LOVE her new short hair cut and that green dress does amazing things for her eyes. I wish she’d picked a fabric other than sateen, though. No one can wear that without phantom lumps and bumps. Trust me, there are NO unwanted lumps and bumps on that girl. She is FIT.
We got to chat with Yvonne in the Chuck press room at Comic Con – that interview will be part of the ChuckTV.net coverage posting soon – and she was just delightful. Feeling a little emotional about embarking on Chuck‘s final season, but excited about getting to wrap up the story on their own terms.
The final season of Chuck premieres Friday, October 21 at 8/7c and Yvonne co-stars in the action movie Killer Elite opposite Jason Statham, Clive Owen, and Robert DeNiro, opening in theaters September 23, 2011.

Emmy4Yvonne.com has an exclusive interview with Yvonne Strahovski talking about playing Sarah Walker, her exceptional performance in “Chuck vs. Phase Three”, and their Emmy campaign:
Episode 4.09 became a fan-favorite solely because of your powerful, emotionally charged performance. You revealed Sarah’s vulnerability and her utter devotion to Chuck, which are aspects of Sarah’s character never blatantly shown before. What was the most enjoyable part about exploring this unseen, emotional side of Sarah? What was the biggest challenge in conveying/depicting this unseen side?
“This episode, hands down, was certainly the most challenging because yes, it did ask me to push Sarah Walker to a completely new level. The thing that was extremely important to me, was making it clear that nothing mattered to Sarah Walker anymore. She didn’t care about ANYTHING except finding Chuck. She didn’t care what she had to lose, who she had to fight, or who she had to betray – nothing was more important then finding Chuck. The other aspect of the episode that was hugely important – was the scene where she finds him – the pay off – for all her hard work leading up to that point. I felt it had to match the extreme lengths that Sarah Walker had gone through, throughout the episode, and that’s why it was so emotional.
If I was going to say what was the most challenging? I would have to say it was the scene where I’m putting amonia in the needle and interrogating the Thai ambassador. Only because the director (Anton Cropper) and I wanted it to be a particular note – somewhere between chilling and determined and not caring about anything other then Chuck.
The most enjoyable? Definitely the fight scene! It took about 10 hours to shoot the fight scene in the pit and I had a blast every second. It’s for sure my favorite one so far.”
